This kit includes a handcrafted Belly Bar, a Franklin Leathers Dobro strap, nickel strap lock, metal ferrules and installation instructions*. (An technician can install the upgrade; however, an Electro Hawaiian®®Junior lap steel must also be purchased in this order.)
The Belly Bar is crafted of high-grade aluminum and fitted with a neoprene sleeve to prevent slippage. The Belly Bar is inserted into the lap steel when in use, and then can be easily removed when playing in the seated position. It should also be removed when the lap steel is in its case or gig bag.
